Space
Finding a quiet space to feed your baby or pump can be challenging. But know that there are nursery / designated spaces available sometimes!
- Public buildings (offices, play spaces, airports, etc.)
- Mamava pods - Roomy, private lactation pods that are free to use. Download the Mamava app.
- Upscale shopping malls/department stores (e.g., Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's) often have nursing areas in the female restrooms.
- Airport
- Look for “Nursery” rooms. Typically, these rooms are equipped with a comfortable chair and diaper-changing station.
- Some airport terminals will have the Mamava pods.
- Pumpspotting app - offers breastfeeding support and info on local breastfeeding locations. Blossom Birth & Family offers 3 free months (see bottom of this page, promo code: PSPARTNERS) of access to the app.
- Moms Pump Here - travel blog and nursing room locator.
